ConvenientMD LLC is seeking a Medical Receptionist in Auburn, ME to be the first face patients encounter. You will greet, register, collect payments, and help ensure timely patient care while supporting insurance and billing inquiries.

You’ll coordinate patient flow, manage reservations, and assist with referrals. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and EMR software is helpful in a fast-paced, patient-centered clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Proactive and confident communicator with strong organizational skills.
• Compassionate, patient-focused and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Technically proficient with common software tools including Microsoft Office.
• Effective communicator and collaborator across teams; maintains confidentiality per HIPAA.
• Prior front-desk or medical receptionist experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; register patients and update records; collect payments.
• Handle insurance and billing inquiries with clear, concise information.
• Coordinate patient flow, manage reservations, and support scheduling of referrals.
• Answer calls professionally; keep the reception area organized and welcoming.
• Utilize EMR and scheduling software to follow clinic protocols and improve efficiency.
