Baylor Scott & White Institute for Rehabilitation in Aubrey, TX is seeking a Patient Service Specialist (PSS) to join our front office team. You will greet patients, answer phones, schedule appointments and handle intake and data entry.

This role requires a HS diploma or GED, experience in customer service and knowledge of insurance verification; travel to other locations may be required. Starting salary is $18–$25 per hour, based on experience and equity.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of insurance verification preferred.
• Healthcare, medical, or dental office administration preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet patients and answer phones.
• Process referrals, schedule patients, and complete intake.
• Data entry and insurance verification
• Obtain pre-authorizations and review benefits with patients
• Collect copays and manage billing reports
• Schedule patient appointments and operate front office
• Support therapists and therapy assistants
• Balance cash daily and make weekly deposits
