VillageMD, CityMD location in New York, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to warmly greet patients, register them and coordinate appointments. You will handle insurance questions, collect co-pays and maintain accurate records with a focus on speed and courtesy.

Ideal candidates have high school education, superb communication and a friendly, can-do attitude in a fast-paced healthcare environment; bilingual skills are a plus.

Qualificações

• Experience in high-volume/high-intensity service environments preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and a team player.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and welcome patients.
• Register patients and coordinate appointments.
• Enter/update patient information in system accurately.
• Assist patients with paperwork as needed.
• Scan, update and file medical records.
• Answer phone calls promptly and politely.
• Process insurance information and verify eligibility.
• Handle cash and co-pays accurately.
• Provide outstanding customer service to every patient.
• Inform site manager of wait times and inquiries.
