Job summary

ConvenientMD LLC in Massachusetts is seeking a Medical Receptionist to be the first face patients see in our clinics. You will greet patients, complete registrations, update records, collect payments, and help ensure timely visits.

You will interact warmly with patients, handle insurance inquiries, coordinate scheduling, and support the clinical team across multiple software systems while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Technically proficient with Microsoft Office or similar software.
• Ability to work across multiple clinics within a 1-hour travel radius.
• Experience with medical registration, HIPAA, and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors, complete patient registrations, and update records.
• Collect payments, insurance co-pays, and prescription charges.
• Assist with scheduling referrals and managing patient flow in the clinic.
• Answer phones professionally and maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area.
• Navigate EMR and scheduling software to follow protocols.
• Maintain daily logs and support admin duties as needed.
