Job summary

Jefferson Health is seeking a Patient Services Associate II to manage arrival and departure activities for patients visiting the practice. The role includes obtaining pre-certifications, verifying insurance and referrals, and ensuring accurate demographic information while delivering a courteous Jefferson Experience.

The PSA II will support an efficient patient flow, greet patients professionally, and escalate concerns when necessary.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent communication with patients and visitors.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time-sensitive workload.

Responsibilities

• Process check-in and check-out and scheduling via EPIC.
• Obtain pre-certifications and/or pre-authorizations for procedures.
• Verify insurance, referrals and patient demographics and update records.
• Maintain efficient patient flow and escalate concerns as needed.
• Greet patients/visitors professionally in person or over the phone.
• Comply with HIPAA and all regulatory standards.
