Westerville Family Physicians in Westerville, OH, is seeking a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact with patients. You will welcome guests, handle check-in, data entry, and insurance verification, and help ensure a smooth visit experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Preferred: 1 year of administrative experience in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of HIPAA guidelines and patient privacy.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and complete check-in procedures upon arrival.
• Register patients and verify insurance information.
• Collect copays, deductibles and outstanding balances.
• Answer calls and emails from patients; direct or escalate as needed.
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure patient needs are met.
• Perform clerical tasks and maintain electronic records with HIPAA compliance.
