Job summary

Fast Pace Health in Memphis is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support and exceptional patient service under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will handle patient registration, insurance verification, and front-office tasks while maintaining a welcoming, patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, familiarity with MS Outlook/Word, and the ability to manage competing priorities during busy clinic

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; CPR license preferred.
• 1 year of customer experience in a healthcare setting recommended.
• Experience with patient registration and insurance processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with excellent customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information accurately.
• Verify and update patient insurance details during check-in.
• Explain co-pays, deductibles, and coverage to patients clearly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and waiting area.
• Assist with back-office tasks and cross-train as needed.
