Job summary

Fast Pace Health in Morristown, TN is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide administrative support under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will handle patient registration, verify insurance, and manage front-office tasks to ensure smooth patient flow.

This role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, 1 year of customer service experience, and CPR certification within 7 days of hire; proficiency with MS Outlook and Word is expected.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
• 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification is required within 7 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of customer service.
• Collect and input patient demographics and financial information at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information at registration.
• Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans, co-pays, deductibles and coverage limits.
• Coordinate medical records and support back-office tasks as needed.
