Fast Pace Health is seeking a Patient Care Specialist to provide essential administrative support for patient care under supervision of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. You will greet, register, and discharge patients, collect demographics and insurance data, and maintain accurate records with a focus on exceptional customer service.

The role involves handling front-office duties, managing payments and co-pays, and staying up to date with government and commercial insurance changes.

Qualificações

• High School Diploma or its equivalent required; CPR certification preferred.
• Experience in patient registration and insurance processes is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.

Responsabilidades

• Greet, register, and discharge patients with a high level of customer service.
• Input patient demographics and financial information accurately at registration.
• Verify and update patient insurance information during registration.
• Maintain knowledge of medical insurance plans, co-pays, deductibles, and coverage limits.
• Assist with back-office duties when needed and cross-train as required.
• Ensure reception area is clean and organized; support clinic staff and processes.
• Complete mandatory compliance training and adhere to company policies.
