Job summary

Ascension is seeking an administrative professional in Nashville to champion the patient experience and streamline front-office operations. You will welcome visitors, manage appointments, and assist with insurance processes to support clinical teams and patients.

The successful candidate will have at least a high school equivalency or one year of related experience, with preference for more than one year of administrative background in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job-specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• 1+ years of administrative experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome for every visitor and guide them through check-in/out processes.
• Proactively manage schedules, confirm appointments, and handle medical record requests.
• Assist patients with insurance authorizations and precertifications; explain co-pays and billing questions with clarity.
• Submit daily service charges, reconcile deposits, and maintain organized clerical operations.
