Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Front Desk/Patient Services role in Nashville, TN at Saint Thomas Medical Partners Bellevue. You will welcome visitors, check in patients, verify records, and keep the front office running smoothly in a fast-paced primary care setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma equivalency or 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
• 1+ years medical office experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guide them through check-in/check-out while ensuring records are accurate and up-to-date.
• Proactively manage schedules, confirm appointments, and handle medical record requests for smooth coordination.
• Assist patients with insurance authorizations, precertifications, and navigate co-pays and billing questions with empathy.
• Submit daily service charges, reconcile deposits, and provide essential clerical support to maintain an organized front office.
