Mercy is seeking a Patient Service Representative – Vascular Services to support front-desk operations, patient registration, and billing discussions in a busy clinic environment.

You will greet patients, verify identities, manage check-in/out, answer phones, schedule appointments, and coordinate with staff to ensure smooth clinic flow. Must maintain confidentiality and deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifikationen

• Knowledge of medical terminology, insurance and billing.
• Clear and professional verbal and written communication.
• Accurate data entry and basic computer skills.
• Strong customer service mindset with patient focus.

Aufgaben

• Greet and register patients; verify identity and manage check-in/check-out.
• Answer phones and perform clerical tasks including Epic charting, scanning, faxing, and document handling.
• Schedule appointments and testing; provide timely estimates and Good Faith Estimates.
• Monitor provider schedules and coordinate with staff for clinic flow.
• Maintain accurate registration, EHRs, and work queues.
• Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate when needed.
• Manage daily cash drawer, accounts receivable tasks, and payment plans.
• Support EPIC updates, clinic communications.
• Maintain a safe, clean reception area and comply with privacy and infection control policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
