Mercy is seeking an Advanced Patient Services Representative to manage front-desk operations, greet and register patients, verify identities, and coordinate clinic workflows in Saint Louis, MO. The role supports payment processes, explains options, and documents financial conversations, while maintaining accuracy in EHRs and communications with patients.

The position is full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, at our vascular services location.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Customer service experience preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet and register patients; verify identity and manage check‑in/check‑out
• Answer phones and perform clerical tasks including Epic charting, scanning, faxing, and document handling
• Schedule appointments, procedures, and testing; provide timely estimates and Good Faith Estimates
• Monitor provider schedules, communicate delays, and coordinate with staff to ensure efficient clinic flow
• Maintain accurate registration, EHRs, and assigned work queues
• Handle patient concerns professionally and escalate as needed
• Manage daily cash drawer, accounts receivable tasks, and payment plans
• Support EPIC updates, departmental initiatives, and clinic communications
• Maintain a safe, clean reception area and adhere to safety, privacy, and infection control policies
• Perform other duties as assigned
