You will assist providers and staff, ensuring HIPAA compliance and smooth daily functions across locations.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with experience using EHR and Practice Management systems.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous medical office or customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, health insurance, and EHR systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets and checks patients in and out while providing exceptional customer service.
• Serves as the primary point of contact for patients at the front desk.
• Verifies patient demographics, insurance eligibility, referrals, and authorizations prior to appointments.
• Collects co-payments and outstanding patient balances at the time of service.
• Prepares patient charts and ensures all required documentation is complete before appointments.
• Communicates appointment follow-up instructions and assists patients with questions regarding their visit.
