Job summary

US Eye is seeking a Patient Care Representative to join our Lake Eye Associates team in Wildwood, FL. You will be the first and last point of contact for patients, ensuring a warm, professional experience while handling check-in/out, scheduling, and information verification.

The role requires a high school diploma and prior customer service experience, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate records. Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm, with occasional overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have experience in customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Strong communication and people skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients, visitors, and staff upon entry to the practice.
• Monitor reception areas and provide assistance as needed.
• Verify insurance coverage for patients.
• Assist with check-in/check-out and gather required information.
• Print daily physician and team schedules.
• Handle walk-in inquiries and scheduling questions.
• Disseminate information using phone systems and computer software.
• Maintain an organized, safe workspace and accurate records.
