The University of Kansas Health System seeks a Patient Service Representative to join the Westwood clinic. You’ll handle front desk duties, greet patients, verify insurance, collect payments, and support MyChart activation to ensure a smooth patient flow.

Responsibilities include scheduling, pre-visit coordination, and post-visit follow ups within Epic Cadence and the EMR environment. Part-time positions with patient-centered service focus are available at Westwood Medical Pavilion.

Competenze

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 1+ year customer service or health care experience.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Mansioni

• Pre-Visit Scheduling: schedule internal and external referrals, in-person appointments, telehealth visits, surgeries, procedures and/or ancillary services using Epic Cadence decision trees.
• During Visit Check-In: high volume check-in/out and phone reception; collect copays, co-insurance, and deductibles; support MyChart activation.
• Post-Visit Scheduling: arrange follow-up orders and ensure patient itinerary; maintain coverage until last patient is checked out.
