Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in healthcare, medical office, administrative, or customer service setting preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic proficiency with computers and electronic record systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors in a welcoming, courteous, and professional manner.
• Manage patient check-in and check-out processes with accurate documentation and data entry.
• Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments with clinical staff.
• Answer incoming phone calls and respond to questions regarding appointments, services, insurance, and information.
• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Assist patients with billing questions, payment processing, and front-desk needs as appropriate.
• Communicate with clinical and administrative staff to support efficient patient flow.
• Address patient questions or concerns professionally and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Perform general administrative duties and maintain an organized front-desk area.
