Job summary

Work hours are Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The position emphasizes customer service, confidentiality, and a patient-centered approach within a leading academic medical center in Dallas.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Heartsaver/CPR AED within 90 days.
• Experience with patient-facing activities is implied by the role.
• Ability to work with confidential information daily.
• Adaptability to changing work environment.
• Familiarity with Microsoft applications.
• Good communication, organizational, reading and writing skills.
• Ability to plan and organize work efficiently.
• Punctual and reliable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and guests at entrances and provide escorts or assistance as needed.
• Act as liaison between patients, families, and medical staff to deliver courteous hospitality.
• Answer inquiries about health care services and provide directions within the campus.
• Maintain current UT Southwestern campus information to respond accurately to questions.
• Collaborates with Lead Patient Services Representatives to resolve issues.
• Maintains confidentiality and follows policies and procedures.
• Monitors patient flow and supports staff during daily operations.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and professionalism at all times.
