UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a Lead Patient Services Representative at our Dallas Southwestern Medical District site. You will promote UT Southwestern as a premier patient-care destination, lead patient service tasks, and ensure high standards across the service desks.

The role emphasizes strong communication, front-line leadership, and coordination with multiple departments to deliver efficient, compassionate care to patients and families.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required with basic experience in customer-facing roles.
• Minimum six months of experience in a similar patient services setting.
• BLS certification required; Notary Public certification within 120 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Direct and coordinate Patient Services Representatives at the assigned site.
• Coordinate training duties with the Guest & Patient Services Training Supervisor.
• Coach and counsel staff; maintain teamwork and staffing standards.
• Resolve problems promptly; exercise sound judgment and discretion.
• Ensure policy enforcement and consistent operations across locations.
• Support weekend and holiday coverage; respond to patient inquiries.
