Advocate Health seeks a friendly, detail-oriented patient access representative to support registration, insurance verification, scheduling, and billing processes. You will interact with patients and families, manage sensitive information, and promote the use of front-end technology to streamline check-in.

The role requires strong customer service skills, a high school diploma, and computer experience. Front desk operations and healthcare environment familiarity are a plus.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Computer experience required.
• Experience with Medical Records Software preferred.
• Front desk practice experience preferred.
• Customer relations experience required.

Mansioni

• Manage patient registration, insurance verification, scheduling, collection and cash receipting, arrival and/or departure desk activities according to standards and guidelines.
• Assist billing functions and/or direct to appropriate billing office; ensure accurate patient information.
• Encourage patient utilization of front-end technology during the registration process.
• Enter and maintain confidential patient information including insurance, billing, and payment details.
• Demonstrate proficiency with emergency codes and applicable regulations.
