Job summary

Providence Family Medicine Ctr-Anchorage is seeking a Patient Services Specialist to greet patients, answer inquiries, and coordinate with care teams. You will be the first point of contact, delivering friendly, professional service to support the patient experience in a busy clinic setting.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, accuracy in scheduling, and collaboration with providers and staff to ensure smooth patient flow in Alaska’s largest private employer network.

Qualifications

• 1 year of customer service experience, or successful completion of Providence internship.
• 1 year of medical office or health care experience is preferred.
• Basic experience with electronic medical records and/or computerized billing systems.
• Medical terminology experience is a plus.
• Rooming position: CNA, non-credentialed MA, EMT experience, or similar experience.

• Serve as the first point of contact for patients or visitors in person or by phone.
• Provide exceptional customer service to maintain high patient satisfaction.
• Support doorway or front-desk processes and coordinate with clinical staff as needed.
