Job summary

SEARHC is seeking a Patient Support Coordinator in Juneau to be the first point of contact for patients. You will answer calls, assist with queries, schedule appointments, and help patients navigate their visits, always applying professional phone etiquette and data accuracy.

This role emphasizes confidentiality, coordination of benefits, and collaboration with Financial Counselors as needed, with a typical M-F daytime shift and OT options.

Qualifications

• 1 year of office or customer service experience.
• 1 year call center or medical office experience preferred.
• Strong data entry and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Answer the phone and manage patient queries with professional etiquette.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate benefits with insurance.
• Maintain patient demographic and insurance information in the EHR.
• Refer uninsured patients to a Financial Counselor for resolution.
• Protect confidentiality and privacy in communications and data handling.
• Support multiple SEARHC locations and coordinate across teams.
