Job summary

Penn Medicine's PMR General department is seeking a Patient Services Associate to enhance patient care and front-end operations at Penn Medicine Radnor. The PSA will handle patient arrival/departure, schedule appointments, manage calls, verify insurance, and assist with point-of-service transactions.

This full-time role supports high-quality care delivery, works 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and may rotate across PSA functions to meet department needs.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED (Required)
• 2+ years of Medical office experience, or relevant customer service experience (Required)
• Advanced degree may be considered in lieu of experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient arrival/departure, ensuring smooth check-in and check-out processes.
• Handle patient calls, inquiries, and appointment coordination.
• Update patient insurance/billing information in EMR and perform point-of-service tasks.
• Schedule appointments and communicate changes to patients.
• Collect copays and secure signatures/forms as needed.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory standards.
