Intermountain Healthcare seeks a Patient Service Representative to be the first point of contact for patients at the Southridge Clinic in Riverton, UT. The role handles greeting, check-in/out, data verification, and basic billing support while ensuring compassionate, patient-centered service.

Part-time position (24 hours/week) with an hourly pay range of $18.31–$23.80, benefiting from Intermountain’s well-being programs and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience with interaction with customers.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional manner and strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively with patients and caregivers to deliver high-quality customer/patient satisfaction.

Responsabilités

• Greet and check-in/out patients in person or via phone/secure messaging.
• Resolve patient needs to ensure superior customer experience.
• Document all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by verifying/updating demographic data and insurance information.
• Obtain copies of insurance cards, IDs, and signatures on forms.
• Assist patients with forms for regulatory and billing needs before care.
• Scan paperwork and educate patients on financial assistance and payments.
