Qualifications

• Six months of customer service experience.
• Basic computer skills including word processing and data entry.
• Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with patients and caregivers to deliver high-quality service.
• Ability to protect privacy and PHI of patients and caregivers.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients via phone or in person, ensuring courteous, professional service.
• Document all phone calls accurately in the EMR.
• Schedule appointments for visits, procedures, tests, referrals, and consultations.
• Register patients by confirming and updating demographic data in the registration system.
• Verify insurance information, obtain signatures, and assist with pre-certification as needed.
• Assist patients with forms, explain billing and financial assistance, and process payments.
• Stay current on role responsibilities through internal communications and dashboards.
