Job summary

Hope Cancer Care of Nevada is seeking a Patient Services Specialist (PSS) to deliver high-quality front-end patient support, managing intake, scheduling, medical records, and financial transactions with accurate documentation and exceptional service.

You will work across multiple stations, greet patients, verify identities, maintain EMR data, coordinate appointments, and assist with billing and communications while upholding HIPAA compliance and patient privacy.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Associates degree preferred.
• Minimum 1 year in a healthcare setting; physician office experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service with strong attention to detail and multitasking.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and manage front-end intake and payments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate physician requests.
• Maintain EMR records and HIPAA compliant documentation.
• Process and reconcile patient payments; support billing.
• Cross-train across stations and provide coverage as needed.
• Respond to calls and route messages in EMR.
