Chesterton Health and Emergency Center, part of Franciscan Alliance, Inc., seeks a Patient Service Representative to serve as the first contact for patients and families. The role supports scheduling, data entry in the EMR, and patient financial interactions at the Chesterton site.

The PSR collaborates with clinicians and staff to ensure smooth patient flow, collects copayments and balances, and maintains accurate records in a fast-paced, compassionate environment.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and direct patients, family members, and visitors.
• Answer incoming calls; respond to inquiries or direct to staff for assistance.
• Schedule appointments and enter data into scheduling system.
• Register patients and update demographic and insurance information into EMR.
• Communicate with clinical staff to maintain patient flow and update waiting patients.
• Collect patient payments; apply payments and adjustments to patient accounts.
• Balance daily encounter forms and cash drawers.
