Job summary

Shields Health is seeking a Patient Care Representative to deliver exceptional customer service with professionalism, efficiency and accuracy. You will greet patients, collect copays, explain consent forms, and support the scheduling process.

You will assist with check-in, support language services when needed, maintain HIPAA/privacy standards, coordinate with technologists and radiologists, and ensure smooth patient flow. Pay range is $18-$29 per hour plus benefits.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills and computer proficiency required.
• Attention to detail and typing accuracy required.
• Ability to follow instructions with minimal supervision.
• Proven ability to multi task and exceed customer expectations.
• Able to sit for extended periods while data entering via phone.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, collect copays, and explain consent forms.
• Assist patients with check-in via iPad and troubleshoot.
• Recognize language service needs and coordinate interpretation.
• Maintain HIPAA and privacy policies in all interactions.
• Support patient flow with technologists and radiologists.
• Process mail and prepare next day's appointment setup.
• Verify information in systems and respond to scheduling emergencies.
