AEG is seeking a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations, patient flow, and schedule coordination. You will work with care teams to ensure efficient visits and high-quality experiences for every patient.

Responsibilities include greeting patients, handling calls, verifying insurance, and coordinating with clinicians to optimize daily schedules. This role emphasizes patient-centered service, confidentiality, and team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn practice management systems (EMR).
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) with patient-centered service.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
• Ability to proactively identify issues and contribute to solutions in a fast-paced environment.
• Must maintain patient and practice confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, customers, and vendors; primary contact for patient interactions.
• Answer calls, respond to inquiries, and manage emails professionally.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider schedules; handle cancellations and reschedules.
• Send confirmations and reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter demographics into EMR.
• Coordinate with clinical and optical teams for smooth visits.
• Support patient retention through recall and follow-up outreach.
• Maintain an organized, clean front office environment.
