AEG is hiring a Patient Care Coordinator to manage front desk operations, patient flow, and schedule coordination. You will work with the care team to ensure a seamless experience from check-in to checkout, while maintaining accurate EMR records and patient data.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, appointment management, and collaboration with clinicians to optimize daily patient flow and care delivery.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic computer literacy and ability to learn EMR/practice management systems.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Clear, patient-centered communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and serve as primary contact for patient interactions.
• Schedule appointments and optimize provider schedules.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter demographics in EMR.
• Collect charges and payments in EMR; balance balances and assist with claim prep.
• Coordinate with clinical/optical teams to ensure smooth patient transitions and care continuity.
• Assist in maintaining a clean, organized front office and handle multiple tasks professionally.
