Job summary

UCSF Medical Center is seeking a Practice Coordinator to act as the public face of the Practice and to support daily operations and patient service recovery. You will manage CRM messages, telephone encounters, referrals, and clerical tasks across multiple systems while maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.

The role requires exceptional customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent with related experience, or a college degree with related experience.
• Proficient in basic math and keyboarding; able to navigate multiple patient record systems.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Represent the administrative team as the public face of the Practice.
• Support practice operations and customer service recovery efforts.
• Handle CRM messages, telephone encounters, referrals, in-baskets, scanning, filing, authorizations, and billing.
