Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments and manage calls per guidelines.
• Provide excellent customer service and de-escalate difficult encounters.
• Determine urgency of calls and transfer to a nurse when appropriate.
• Compose messages for physicians, nurses or staff.
• Perform clerical duties including scheduling and cancellations.
• Answer insurance/financial questions; refer to billers.
• Collaborate with patient advisory/nursing staff to ensure timely scheduling.
