Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred.
• At least one year of general office experience required.
• Completed clinic training competencies.
• Ability to work variable hours and/or float to another clinic location to meet organizational needs.

Responsibilities

• Register patients and collect personal, insurance, and other data for billing.
• Verify insurance coverage with carriers or employers.
• Schedule patient appointments for providers as necessary.
• Answer basic insurance/financial questions and escalate as needed.
• Collect co-pays and outstanding balances and maintain a balanced cash drawer.
• Answer patient and staff calls and assist as needed.
• Escalate patient concerns to the lead or supervisor.
