Qualifications

• Experience with EMR systems preferred.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and act as the primary contact for interactions.
• Answer calls and manage emails or messages professionally.
• Schedule appointments and assist with provider scheduling optimization.
• Confirm appointments and send reminders to reduce no-shows.
• Verify insurance eligibility and enter patient demographics into EMR.
• Explain coverage and patient financial responsibility clearly.
• Prepare patient charts and necessary documents before visits.
• Process charges and payments in EMR and assist with billing workflows.
• Monitor patient flow and communicate any bottlenecks to the team.
• Collaborate with clinical and optical teams to ensure smooth transitions.
