Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Previous work in a medical office or customer service preferred.
• Computer experience and typing skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinic in meeting goals related to quality and patient satisfaction by guiding visitors and patients in person and over the phone, aiming for high patient satisfaction.
• Schedule, reschedule and coordinate patient appointments; triage urgent/emergency cases.
• Register patient demographics and insurance; verify eligibility and determine copay; collect financial responsibility.
• Support front-line billing tasks such as entering charges, posting payments, and managing cash; monitor accounts and denials.
• Process paper flow, mail, fax, scanning, and QA of documents; assist with audits.
• Perform opening/closing day activities, run reports, manage cash, and complete lists.
• Comply with HIPAA and clinic policies; protect PHI and adhere to safety standards.
• Manage task lists within the EHR and support team goals.
• Perform other related work as required.
