Job summary

Stanton Optical in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Doctor’s Technician to provide outstanding customer service, facilitate sales, and act as the critical first touchpoint between our retail and clinical teams. You will engage with patients, support promotions, and help guide them through the care and purchase process.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher certification required.
• Minimum 2+ years of customer service experience with patients or customers.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with diverse groups.
• Ability to listen actively, build rapport and empathize with patients.
• Team-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a positive experience.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments, collect patient history, and perform pre-tests and basic eye tests.
• Assist with patient complaint resolution and keep patients informed on status of orders.
• Edge lenses and assemble frames to expedite delivery and keep lab areas organized.
• Maintain brand standards and notify management of equipment issues or delays.
• Monitor delivery times to ensure Ready When Promised service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
