Job summary

Visionworks in Avon, IN is seeking an OD Coordinator to be the friendly face guiding patients from check-in to the exam floor. You will help schedule OD techs, assist with eye health basics, and ensure a smooth patient journey with a human and bold approach.

Ideal candidates have customer or patient service experience, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to learn about optics, exams, and vision care products. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer or patient service preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Willingness to learn about eye care products and exams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational tasks to support the exam lane and patient experience.
• Count daily revenue and prepare for deposit; assist with technician schedules.
