Job summary

Visionworks seeks an OD Coordinator in Fishers, IN to be the welcoming face of our Exam Practice and ensure a smooth patient journey from check-in to the exam to product recommendations. You will help train and schedule OD Techs, understand eye health, preliminary testing, optics, and our managed vision care offerings.

You will perform daily store operations to support the exam lane, including restocking inventory, maintaining equipment, answering phones, and assisting patients with education on

Qualifications

• Customer or patient experience preferred, but not necessary.
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent related job experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain complete and accurate patient records before conducting preliminary testing.
• Introduce patient to OD and provide OD with important patient information.
• Transition patient from doctor to sales floor and educate on recommended products and services.
• Execute day-to-day operational activities to support the store's exam lane maintenance and patient experience goals (restocking inventory, cleaning equipment, answering phones).
• Count the Optometrist's daily revenue and prepare for deposit.
• Prepare Technician work schedules to meet patient/Doctor demand.
