Qualifikationen

• High School or GED required; an AA degree preferred.
• Previous PSR experience is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Ability to organize and perform multiple tasks in a timely manner.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology is preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency; experience with standard office technology is a plus.
• Experience with EHR, Practice Management System and related systems preferred.

Aufgaben

• Greet visitors and direct them professionally.
• Manage patient flow and registration with strong customer service.
• Answer phones, take messages, and route calls.
• Inform patients of delays and assist with comfort.
• Process and reconcile payments and deposits accurately.
• Scan insurance cards, perform verifications, and update accounts.
• Schedule appointments and manage waitlists per guidelines.
• Arrange orders for diagnostic tests and pre-authorizations.
• Communicate issues to supervisors promptly.
