Job summary

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm greeting for all patients and guide check-in.
• Assist patients with self-arrival technology or desk check-in as appropriate.
• Collect copayments and other payments at point of service.
• Update patient demographics and insurance information as needed.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate care access.
• Direct patients to financial advocacy resources when applicable.
• Explain benefits and verify insurance information with carriers.
• Support administrative tasks such as scanning and faxing.
