UPMC University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Full-Time Patient Services Representative to help support Shadyside Neurology. Hours are 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, Monday through Friday, at Shadyside.

The role greets patients, promotes MyUPMC, educates on copayments, collects payments, and schedules future care within the continuum. Strong customer service and basic tech skills are essential for an excellent UPMC Experience.

Qualifikationen

• Completion of high school or equivalent.
• Experience in medical, billing, or customer service preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
• Experience with Epic, Medipac or health records systems preferred.
• Proficient computer and typing skills.

Aufgaben

• Greet patients upon arrival and promote MyUPMC portal.
• Educate patients on copayments and financial obligations.
• Schedule next appointments and coordinate care continuum.
• Verify insurance benefits and collect copayments at point of service.
• Triage calls and route to appropriate areas or providers.
• Assist with administrative duties and maintain patient records.
