Job summary

Sanitas Medical Centers seeks a Patient Representative Coordinator (PRC) to be the first point of contact for patients and visitors at the Katy Medical Center. You will support the patient journey through pre-visit planning, check-in, check-out, and post-visit follow-up while maintaining records and confidentiality.

The role requires strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills, ensuring efficient operations and high-quality patient experiences at every touchpoint.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient check-in/out processes in a healthcare setting.
• Familiarity with verifying insurance eligibility and coordinating with providers.
• Ability to protect patient confidentiality and PHI.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple departments to support patient journeys.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients and visitors in a welcoming, professional manner.
• Review schedules and perform pre-visit planning tasks.
• Handle check-in/check-out, verify appointments, and collect copays where applicable.
• Ensure timely patient flow and minimize wait times.
• Maintain accurate patient records and confidentiality.
• Complete post-visit follow-up calls and ensure service recovery as needed.
• Support staff with supplies and departmental tasks as required.
