Community Dental Partners is seeking an Insurance Coordinator in Waco, TX who excels at helping patients and supporting the practice. This role primarily handles insurance verification, greets patients, and coordinates with clinical, billing, and operations teams.

You will verify insurance, update records, answer questions about appointments and policies, and keep the front office tidy. The position is full-time, non-exempt, with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service and multitasking abilities.
• Dependable, detail-oriented team player.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival.
• Receive paperwork and insurance information; secondary accuracy check before scanning.
• Change and update patient status in the computer per guidelines.
• Handle routine questions about appointments, policies, insurance, and treatments; update notes in the system.
• Verifying insurance and frequencies when needed.
• Review the schedule in advance to ensure appointments and patients are due.
• Confirm patients the day before and the day of the appointment; reappoint when needed.
• Back up the Greeter when unavailable.
• Maintain front office area/lobby.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
