You will greet patients, collect insurance information, update records, verify benefits, and assist with scheduling and claims creation, working closely with the Practice Manager and office team.

Qualifications

• Administrative experience required.
• Experience working with insurance preferred.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Customer service skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients upon arrival.
• Collect paperwork and insurance information and scan documents.
• Update patient status in the computer per guidelines.
• Handle routine questions about appointments, policies, insurance, and treatments; update notes.
• Verifying insurance and frequencies when needed.
• Review the schedule in advance for due appointments.
• Follow the established confirmation protocol and reappoint when necessary.
• Maintain front office area/lobby.
• Collect fees per patient’s insurance or visit.
• Assist the office manager in creating claims.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
