Job summary

Athletico seeks a Patient Experience Coordinator to manage patient intake, financial clearance, and front-office operations, reporting to Clinic Manager and collaborating with the Patient Experience Specialist (PES).

The role emphasizes data integrity, HIPAA compliance, scheduling, collections, and patient engagement using EMR systems. Requires 1–2 years healthcare administration and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience required.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and resolve issues to ensure positive interactions.
• Complete patient intake and registration with demographic and insurance verification.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and digital tools.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling to optimize provider availability.
• Monitor KPIs for accuracy, turnaround, and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Ops to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools for data accuracy.
• Coordinate communication of patient progress notes to referral sources.
• Support clinic engagement with patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training programs.
