Job summary

Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while safeguarding data integrity. You will collaborate with clinics, PES, and Billing teams, leveraging EMR tools to improve patient satisfaction and revenue performance.

This full-time role requires strong customer service, insurance knowledge, and proficiency in MS Office.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Proficiency with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits preferred.
Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
Accurately complete patient intake/registration and verify demographics, insurance, and authorizations.
Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
Collect time-of-service payments and meet targets to support revenue cycle.
Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy, insurance verification, and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track outcomes and drive improvements.
Coordinate communication of progress notes to referral sources in a timely manner.
Support clinic engagement with patient milestone celebrations and team activities.
