Athletico is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support revenue cycle performance while collaborating with clinical teams and receiving support from the PES.

The role emphasizes HIPAA compliance, data integrity, and ongoing collaboration with clinic staff to resolve insurance and scheduling issues, using EMR systems and dashboards for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver an exceptional front-office experience by greeting patients warmly and resolving issues promptly.
• Accurately complete patient intake, verification, insurance eligibility, and authorization requirements.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to track metrics and support improvements.
