Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator in Chesterton, IN to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance, delivering a seamless front-office experience while maintaining compliance and data integrity. The role reports to the Clinic Manager and collaborates with clinical teams.

The PEC will use EMR systems and dashboards to track patient outcomes and support revenue cycle performance, working with PES and Billing to resolve issues and improve patient

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient with MS Office, Outlook and Excel.
• Knowledge of healthcare insurance benefits and coverage preferred.
• Experience with requesting and managing customer payments preferred.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience.
• 1-2 years of healthcare administration preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver a positive front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake and registration with accuracy and compliance.
• Explain financial responsibilities and payment options to patients.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet targets.
• Manage clinic scheduling and access to providers.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with PES, Billing, and Clinical Operations to resolve issues.
• Utilize EMR systems and dashboards to support data accuracy.
• Communicate patient progress notes with referral sources timely.
• Organize patient milestone celebrations and community activities.
• Participate in ongoing training and cross-training programs.
