Job summary

Athletico Physical Therapy is seeking a Patient Experience Coordinator to ensure accurate patient intake and financial clearance while delivering a seamless front-office experience. You will support data integrity and revenue cycle performance under the Clinic Manager and PES.

The role requires coordinating with clinical teams, educating patients on financial responsibilities, collecting payments, and ensuring HIPAA compliance in a fast-paced outpatient setting in Indianapolis.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service and MS Office, Excel proficiency.
• Healthcare administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and deliver an exceptional front-office experience.
• Complete patient intake, verify demographics and insurance eligibility.
• Educate patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
• Collect time-of-service payments and meet collection targets.
• Coordinate scheduling to optimize provider availability and access.
• Monitor KPIs for registration accuracy and patient satisfaction.
• Use EMR/eHR systems to track patient data and outcomes.
• Communicate progress notes and plans of care to referrals.
