Job summary

Platinum Dermatology Partners, located in Santa Barbara, CA, is seeking a Front Desk Coordinator to manage check-ins, greet patients, schedule appointments, and handle routine inquiries with a focus on exceptional service. The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of front desk experience in a medical office, a High School Diploma or GED, and knowledge of CPT/ICD-10.

Dermatology experience and EMR familiarity are preferred to excel in a fast-paced clinic.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years front desk in a medical office/clinic.
• Dermatology or cosmetic experience preferred.
• Knowledge of CPT and ICD-10 codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; math skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations including phones, greeting patients, scheduling appointments.
• Prepare patient paperwork before appointments.
• Review EMA for updates.
• Update patient information in EMA.
• Verify insurance eligibility and prior authorizations.
• Record and collect patient copays and/or balances at check-in/out.
• Other duties as assigned.
